Overview of parameters
　

This page gives overview of ACS’s parameters.

　
Note Length
[Style] -> [Melody] -> [Rhythm]
[Note Length/Syncopation/Repeat] options are displayed when you click on the [Note Length],  [Syncopation], or [Repeat] combo box in the [Rhythm] dialog box. You will see the selected note length, syncopation, and repeat in the [Rhythm] window.
The following values can be selected as note length.
Fluctuation Select this option when you wish to make melody by changing from the part focusing on short sound to the part focusing on long sound.
Long and Even Select this option when you wish to make the length of the note equally.
Long Select this option when you wish to create melody with long sound.
Long Down Beat Select this option when you wish to create melody by using moderate rhythm like that of Japanese enka and classical music. 
Mechanical Select this option when you wish to connect melody with short sound.
Short Select this option when you wish to create melody with short sound.
Slow Fluctuation Select this option when you wish to create melody by mixing various short sound together.  
Mixed Select this option when you wish to create melody by mixing short and long sound together.
Short Long Select this option when you wish to create melody by mixing short and long sound together.
Syncopation
[Style] -> [Melody] -> [Rhythm]
[Note Length/Syncopation/Repeat] options are displayed when you click on the [Note Length],  [Syncopation], or [Repeat] combo box in the [Rhythm] dialog box. You will see the selected note length, syncopation, and repeat in the [Rhythm] window.
The following values can be selected as syncopation.
Syncopation Off Specifies not to use syncopation.
Syncopation On Specifies to use syncopation.
Repeat
[Style] -> [Melody] -> [Rhythm]
[Note Length/Syncopation/Repeat] options are displayed when you click on the [Note Length],  [Syncopation], or [Repeat] combo box in the [Rhythm] dialog box. You will see the selected note length, syncopation, and repeat in the [Rhythm] window.
This parameter determines frequency of repetition of rhythm in melody line.  This parameter does not affect pitches of melody line.
The following values can be selected as repetition option of melody length pattern.
Repeat Off Rhythm of melody includes no repetition.
Repeat Weak Rhythm of melody includes a few repetition. This switch affects only rhythm, and does not affect tone and pitch.
Repeat Middle Rhythm of melody includes some repetition.
This switch affects only rhythm, and does not affect tone and pitch.
