Troubleshooting

No sound can be heard:

You will find the [Sound & Audio Device] in the [Control Panel]. Select different option other than current setting in the [Play MIDI Music Files] of the [Audio]. Also, close other applications.

Noise can be heard when converting a MIDI file into a ringtone:

When a MIDI file is converted into a ringtone, the sound with small velocity which is hardly heard in the MIDI file can be heard. Check whether there is such sound in the original MIDI file.

You cannot choose some of the voice options in simple conversion:
You cannot select  the voice that is assigned drum if your mobile is 4-voice model.
It will hang up after clicking the [Compose] button:
Ensure that you install ACS in your PC by using the setup program(Setup.exe). Remember that after installation, if you change the folder name that has already set up or move the folder, your PC will be impossible to recognize the path of the file and  will not work properly.
"The file path cannot be found." is displayed on the screen:
Ensure that you install ACS in your PC by using the setup program(Setup.exe). Remember that after installation, if you change the folder name that has already set up or move the folder, your PC will be impossible to recognize the path of the file and  will not work properly.
Drum sound is not changed properly when converting into a ringtone:
It may not be converted properly if you are using different channel other than channel 10 of MIDI file for the drum or using different drum other than the standard-set drum.
Arrangements you have made to tone and volume will not be effective when converting into a ringtone:

If more than one program change (tone) and volume are assigned, a message will be displayed at the time of conversion. If you specify to remove the program change and volume that are set from second onwards, only the first program change and volume will be effective. However if you want to change a tone or volume in the middle of music, do not remove the program change and volume after the second. The arrangements you have made to tone and volume may not be effective according to the model of your mobile.

You cannot play the ringtone by your mobile:

If program change and volume are assigned in the middle of music, sound may not be played according to the model of your mobile. See the homepage of product information in order to check the support for every model of mobile phone.

You cannot play the melody mail by your mobile:
When you want to play the melody mail in 4 voices by the N502 type mobile, it may not be played correctly if you specify different tone other than piano (program change 1).
The volume of the ringtone is lower or higher than expected:

The expression in the original MIDI file is disregarded at the time of conversion. Adjust the volume by using the channel volume.

When you play the ringtone on your mobile, some melodies are interrupted:

A short sound may not be played by the 4-voice model. If such is the case, double the length of all sounds and set the tempo to half and it will be played properly.

Pitch bend is not effective when converting into a ringtone:

Though some models of Vodafone and au can use pitch bend, it will be invalid when you convert a MIDI file into ringtone by using ACS.

You cannot play the converted ringtone to the end by your mobile:

When the gate time is extremely short, melodies might be interrupted in some models. If such is the case, adjust the gate time.
