It will be cool by laser engraving to
acrylic plates.
I'm getting used to illustrators, so
maybe I can redraw my handwritten
picture books.

集光アクリルにレーザー彫刻してカッコよくする予定。
イラストレーターにもだんだん慣れてきたから、手書きの絵本もそのうち自分で描きなおせるかも。

Robot band Schedule
大正ロマン・昭和レトロ風のデザインが好きなので、年内のスケジュールを作ってみました。

畳バンドのコンサート。
もしかしたらドラムの人にロボットの着ぐるみを着てもらえるかもしれません。
１１月１９～２０日 Music from Spaceship Earth
ボストンの音楽教育関連の会社が主催しているオンラインイベントです。
１２月５～６日 大垣ミニメイカーフェア
暗室での展示になると思います。

I found a photo of Robot Band uploaded
on maker faire account of Instagram .
It's from Tokyo Maker Faire of this
year.
What I always care about in photos is
the background.
At Maker Faire in Japan, it is common
to arrange tables like islands,
collecting 6-8 groups of exhibitors.
Therefore, when I take a picture of a
booth, the background is the behind of
another booth, which is placed back to
back. I usually put black tablecloths
on the table to have a cool
atmosphere.
If possible, I want to prevent
unnecessary things from the back.
For this, it might be possible to put
something like a stand on the back or
put something like a cloth on it to
partition it. Doing such a thing is a
big deal, and there are problems with
the Fire Service Act when using cloth.
For example, when using cloth, a
flameproof mark is essential, and at
the Tokyo Maker Faire, it is
prohibited to raise a cloth banner
except at the company booth. So, I'm
wondering if there is any solution
that will improve the photo quality.
For example, a white screen for a
projector might be recognized as part
of the exhibition.
In China, like Maker Faire Shenzhen,
there are often partitions between
booths and behind them. It looks good
when I take a picture. I can also put
panels such as exhibition explanations
there.
At last year's Tokyo Maker Faire, I
exhibited in a darkroom.
The darkroom exhibition has the
advantage that no useless background
is reflected. However, with my digital
camera, it is difficult to take good
pictures of LEDs that glow in a dark
room.
One of the purposes of my exhibition
is to create a fantasy world with
humanoid robots. I have been making
improvements for each exhibition, but
the robots themselves had no changes
for about 5 years. No functions have
been added, and even if it is called
an improvement, it is only an
improvement that makes maintenance
easier. Instead, the number of
illuminations using acrylic and LEDs
is increasing year by year. As a goal,
it is possible to synchronize the
blinking of the LED with the
performance by the robot,
It takes a lot of time and effort, so
it has been postponed.
(Currently, the LED blinking of the
robot's glasses and the performance
are synchronized. It's sober ...)
instagramのmakerfireのアカウントで、ロボットバンドの写真がアップされているのを発見しました。今年の東京メイカーフェアのものです。
写真でいつも気になるのは背景です。日本のメイカーフェアでは、テーブルを島になるようにならべるというスタイルが普通です。したがって、ブースの写真を撮影した時の背景は、背中合わせに配置されている別のブースの背面ということになります。
テーブル上には、たいてい黒いテーブルクロスをかけて、それらしい雰囲気がでるようにしていますが、できれば背面も余計なものが入らないようにしたいです。これには、背面につい立のようなものを立てるとか、布のようなものを貼って仕切ることが考えられますが、大がかりですし、布を使用する場合は消防法上の問題もあります。例えば布を使用す場合の防炎マークは必須で、東京メイカーフェアでは企業ブース以外ではのぼり旗をたてるのが禁止されています。ということで、写真映りが良くなるような何か解決策がないか思案中です。たとえば、プロジェクター用の白いスクリーンを置けば、展示内容の一部として認められるかもしれません。
中国の場合は、Maker
Faire深圳のように、ブース間や背後に仕切りがあることが多く、写真を撮ったときの見栄えが良いです。また、展示説明などのパネルもそこに貼り付けることができます。
昨年の東京メイカーフェアでは暗室展示を行いました。暗室展示では無駄な背景が映らないというメリットがあります。ただ、私のもっているデジカメのレベルでは暗室で光るＬＥＤを綺麗に撮影するのが難しいです。
人型ロボットによるファンタジーな空間を演出することが私の展示の目的の１つです。展示のたびに改良は行っていますが、ロボット本体に関しては５年くらい前からほとんど機能は追加しておらず、改良と言ってもメンテをしやすくするという改良しか行っていません。そのかわり、アクリルやＬＥＤを使用したイルミネーションは、年々増やしていっています。最終的には、ＬＥＤの点滅とロボットによる演奏とを同期させるということが考えられますが、けっこう手間がかかるので後回しになっています。（現在は、ロボットの眼鏡のＬＥＤ点滅と演奏が同期するようになっています。地味だけど。。。）

Only advance tickets with a designated
time were sold, and same-day tickets
were not sold.
However, there were more visitors than
expected.

I remade the robot suit from wooden to
acrylic.
As a result, I couldn't wear it by
myself.
I needed someone to help me wear it.
The weight has also increased, which
makes me very tired.
It has speakers so I can walk while
playing music, but I didn't have a
chance to use it at Maker Faire Tokyo.
ロボット・スーツを木製からアクリル製に作り変えました。
その結果、自分ひとりでは着ることができなくなりました。
誰か着るのを助けてくれる人が必要になりました。
重量も増したため、ものすごく疲れます。
スピーカーを装着しているので音楽を演奏しながら歩けますが、メイカーフェア東京では使用する機会がありませんでした。

I visited the construction site of
GUNDAM Factory in Yokohama after Maker
Faire Tokyo.
It will open December 2020, exhibiting
a full-scale moving Gundam with 24
joints. It is about 18m.
