今回は飛行することにより空気を取り込み、音楽を演奏するリコーダーのロケットです。

カード
I have made new cards to hand out at
the exhibition.
Even if I leave them on the table,
they won't decrease as much as I
think.
80% of them might be taken by
children.
I think it would be better to put an
illustration on the card than a photo,
what do you think?
展示のときに配る新しいカードが出来ましたよ。
テーブルに置いておいても思ったより減らない。
そして持っていくのは８割がた子供。
カードに載せるのは、写真よりイラストのほうがいいと思うんだけど、どうなんだろう。。。
Here are some homemade tacos and
ladybug instruments.
Making all the tacos myself can be
quite expensive.
I tried adding sour cream, but it
doesn't seem to be the same.
What is that white sauce of Mexican
restaurants? I don't think they sell
it in supermarkets though. . .

タコスは全部自分でつくるとけっこう高くつく。
サワークリームをつけてみたけど、なんか違う気がする。

Maker Mela is an event held every year
in Mumbai, India.
The organizer is Somaiya Vidyavihar
University, an engineering university.
There seems to be a junior high school
on the university grounds, so I think
a lot of children probably came from
there.

Maker Mela
Fortune-telling was very popular in
India.
When there were too many people,
people were seen voluntarily forming
lines.
This is the first time I've seen the
lines outside Japan.
I ran out of paper on the first day
and asked the staff to add more.
I think I probably did it 600 to 800
times. At the end, it used the
notebooks and other items that
visitors had brought with them to make
fortunes.
おみくじは印度では大人気でした。
人が溜まりすぎると自主的に行列を作るという光景がみられましたが日本以外では初めてです。
初日で紙がなくなり、運営に頼んで追加してもらいました。
おそらく600～800回したんだと思います。最後は来場者がもっていたノートなどを使用しておみくじをしました。
When I was talking about robots with
staff in India, I mentioned about
Gundam, but he didn't know about
Gundam at all.
Well, I thought it wouldn't be
unnatural if there were people who
didn't know about Gundam.
But the other day I had the
opportunity to talk for about 30
minutes with a student who was a fan
of Japanese anime.
He was a fan of Tokyo Ghoul and knew
some pretty rare titles like Gin Tama
and Horimiya.
He said he didn't know anything about
Gundam or Evangelion. Also, Ghost in
the Shell.
Maybe there's a religious reason or
something. Maybe animes where a lot of
people die are no good?
But he knew about Tensura (That Time I
Got Reincarnated as a Slime), and I
think there was a battle scene there
too. Is it okay to be idyllic or
something like that?
インドには日本のアニメのファンがけっこういてワンピースや鬼滅は誰でも知っている感じです。
ロボットの話をしていた時に、ガンダムを引き合いに出したんですが、そんなアニメは知らないと言われてしまいました。
まぁ、知らない人もいるのかなと思っていたんですが、別の日に日本のアニメファンだという青年と３０分くらい話を聞く機会がありました。
東京喰種のファンで、銀魂とかホリミヤとか、けっこうレアなタイトルも知っている人だったんですが、
ガンダムとかエバンゲリオンとか、知らないということでした。あと、攻殻機動隊も。
宗教上とか、何かの理由があるのかもしれません。
もしかして人がたくさん死ぬアニメはダメとか？
でも転スラは知っていたけど、あれも戦闘シーンがあったと思います。牧歌的なやつはＯＫとかそんな感じなのでしょうか？

Maker Mela
The Maker Mela in India that will be
held next week looks like this.
The venue is Somaiya Vidyavihar, an
engineering university.
I paid for my flight ticket, then
domestic transportation, lodging, and
meals within India will be taken care
by the organizer.
Maybe a student will pick me up at the
airport. I will stay at the
university's guesthouse, and probably
eat curry every day.
I went to IIT twice, and other than
they gave me flight tickets, it was
pretty much like this.
Kharagpur and Guwahati were very
rural, but Mumbai might be more city.
来週開催されるインドのMaker Melaはこんな感じです。
会場はSomaiya Vidyaviharという工科系の大学です。
航空券は自腹で、インド国内の移動や宿泊、食事はむこうで面倒みてくれます。
おそらく学生が空港に迎えにきてくれるんだと思います。宿泊は大学のゲストハウスで、たぶん毎日カレー。
ＩＩＴにも２回行ったけど、航空券も支給された以外は、だいたいこんな感じでした。（予算の出所は日本の大使館がからんでいる助成金みたいな話だったと思う）
カグアプールとグワハーティはものすごく田舎だったけど、ムンバイはどうも都会っぽい。

そのあと、上海経由で帰るときに、船が関空の橋に激突して、上海に１週間ほど閉じ込められた思い出も…

Ladybug and turtle shaped instruments
The turtle's musical instrument might
need a little more design.
The rounded corners of the shell are
due to the LED installed underneath.
When I have time, I plan to make a
version with 13 notes that is slightly
larger.

亀の楽器はもう少しデザインを工夫したほうがいいかも。
甲羅の角が丸っぽいのは下に取り付けてあるＬＥＤの都合です。
時間ができたら一回り大きい１３音のものを作る予定。
I am going to make a 13-tone
instrument in the shape of a turtle
next, but for now I made a 7-tone
instrument using the same board as the
ladybug instrument.
Assign a sound to each shell. The
amplifier is a cheap one that can run
on 5V. For the past few years, I have
decided to use USB as the power
source. (Very convenient when I go
abroad.)
次につくる亀の形の楽器は１３音にするつもりですが、とりあえずテントウムシの楽器と同じ基板を使って７音のものを作ってみました。
甲羅の１枚１枚に音を割り当てます。アンプは５Vでも動く安売りのやつ。ここ数年、電源はUSBと決めています。（海外に出たときに何かと便利。）

Febuary 3rd or 4th.
On Setsubun, we throw roasted soybeans
at devil.

Maybe a dwarf took it away in the
middle of the night. . .

それにしても、フィラメントの減りが早い。
もしかしたら夜中に小人がもっていっているのかも。。。

テントウムシの楽器
This is a musical instrument shaped
like a ladybug.
There are 7 buttons, so it can make
sounds from C to B.
The number of cables have been
minimized by making the board, but
with aligning the pin positions,
I think it can be attached like an
Arduino shield.
Next time, I'm planning to make a
turtle-shaped one with 13 notes, so I
might try making it into a shield.
At first, I used an unbranded Chinese
Arduino, but it was extremely
unstable.
I changed it to Funduino and it
started working properly.
I guess it doesn't have to be genuine,
but I guess I have to buy one at a
certain price.
I bought a lot of speakers from the
patrs shop and compared the sound.
I feel like I don't care about the
quality of the sound, whether it's as
small as possible and can produce a
loud sound.
Well, the larger the diameter, the
louder the sound, but the prices are
quite different even for the same
diameter.
Is it like the sound quality is good
or something?
テントウムシの形をした楽器です。
ボタンが７つなのでドからシまでの音が出せます。
基板の製作によりケーブルは最小限になったはずだけど、ピンの位置をあわせたら
Arduinoのシールドみたいな形で取り付けられたんじゃないかと思います。
次は１３音の亀の形をしたやつを作る予定なので、シールド化に挑戦してみようかな。
最初、ノーブランドの中華Arduinoを使ったんですが、ものすごく不安定なので、Funduinoっていうのに変えたらちゃんと動くようになりました。
純正でなくてもいいんだろうけど、やっぱりある程度の値段のやつを買わないとダメだな。
スピーカーは共立でたくさん買い込んで、鳴りを比較しました。
できるだけサイズは小さくて、大きな音がでるもの、音の良さは問わないという感じです。
まぁ、径が大きいほど大きな音がでるわけですが、同じ径でもけっこう値段が違います。

The wiring for the ladybug instrument
I made a while ago was a mess, so I
had PCBgogo make a board to organize
the wiring.
There is no initial discount this
time, so the price is quite high, and
mainly the shipping costs from China.
It seems that if the size exceeds 10cm
x 10cm, the price suddenly increases,
so I made it to fit within that range,
This time it was sent in a big box.
I think the small box for the
heart-shaped board last time will fit.
I wonder how they decide on the size
of the box. . .
After I sent the data, I received an
email because the hole size was
smaller than the standard, and the
price would be higher.
It seemed like they could do simple
work over there, so all I got was a
reply asking them to make them large.
It seems that China will be closed for
about 10 days starting next week for
the Chinese New Year.
だいぶ前につくったテントウムシの楽器の配線がごちゃごちゃなので、配線を整理するための基板をPCBgogoで作ってもらいました。
今回は初回割引がないので、それなりの値段になりましたが、主に中国からの郵送料です。
10cmX10cmを超えると急に値段が高くなるみたいなので、それに収まるように作りましたが、
今回は大きい箱で送られてきました。
前回のハート型基板を注文した時の小さい箱でも入ると思うんだけど、箱のサイズはどうやって決めているんだろう。。。
データを送った後、穴のサイズが規定より小さいので高くなるけどどうしますか、っていうメールがきました。
簡単な作業ならむこうでやってもらえるらしく、大きくしておいてくださいという返信だけで済みました。
ちなみに、中国は春節（旧正月的なやつか？）で来週から１０日ほど休みになるらしい。
