Pen plotters seem to be popular, so
what about something like this?
You move the pen in a direction
determined by playing the notes A, B,
C...
It seems like it could be made quickly
without any physical mechanisms and
just draws on a monitor...But the
question is, is this even fun?
ペンプロッタが人気のようですが、こんなのはどうでしょうか？
ドレミの演奏で方向を決めてペンを動かします。
物理機構なしで、モニターへの描画だけならすぐにでも作れそうですが。。。
これって面白いのか？という疑問が。

Music Pla-rail moves like this.
If I place 12 lines of track, it will
be about 60cm wide.
Most Japanese maker events have tables
that are 45cm wide, and those at Maker
Faire Tokyo are 60cm.
For 45cm events I'll need to device
something.
Pla-rail sells tracks that make for
two floors, so I could use that, or I
could just lay the tracks directly on
the floor.
ミュージック・プラレール、こんな感じで動きます。
線路は１２系統ならべると、幅６０ｃｍぐらいに。
メイカーイベントのテーブルは４５ｃｍ幅のが多くて、メイカーフェア東京とかは６０ｃｍ。
４５ｃｍのイベントだと工夫が必要。
プラレールは２階建てにする線路とか売ってるので、それを使うか、床に直に線路を敷いてもいいかも。

I ordered the circuit board for Music
Plarail on December 28th, using the
cheapest option without tracking, and
it arrived on January 2nd.
In Japan, most factories and postal
services are closed at the beginning
of January.
For Chinese people, New Year may not
be as important as the Chinese New
Year in February.
The controllers and LEDs are on the
front and the battery on the back, and
it's the perfect size to fit on a
freight car. It does work, but there
were about 10 that needed to be
corrected, so I ordered a new one
today.
For parts that don't have published
dimensional drawings, I measured them
myself, but they were quite off, and
sometimes the pins wouldn't fit unless
I held them at an angle.
I wonder if it would be better to take
a photo from above and measure on
screen in Illustrator or something...
I feel like it would be more accurate
than measuring with a vernier caliper.
ミュージック・プラレール用に作った基板、一番安い配送追跡なしので12月28日に注文して、1月2日に届きました。
コントローラ類とLEDを表に、電池を裏に配置して、貨車にちょうど乗るサイズです。一応、動くけど、修正したきばきばころが10か所ぐらいあったので、今日、また新たに発注しました。
寸法図の公開されてないのは、実測するんですが、けっこうズレてて、ピンを斜めにしないと刺さらなかったりとか。
上から写真を撮って、イラストレーターか何かで画面上で計測するほうがいいのかなあ。。。ノギスで測るより正確な気がする。
